Chicano-Inspired Photoshoot
This shoot was built around the attitude and energy of Chicano gang culture — the styling, the colour, the unapologetic presence. I pulled from the visual language of prison tattoos, Hispanic culture, and the women who carried both power and beauty — intimidating and iconic in equal measure.
The brief was to create a collage of images based on a theme of our choice. I chose Chicano — not for shock, but for the aesthetic honesty. The whole shoot was styled, art directed, shot, and edited by me. Every detail was intentional — from the outfits to the framing — to tell a story that felt raw and energetic with a lot of attitude.
